Tapping Script for Releasing Painful Feelings & Limiting Beliefs About Menopause

Woman Photo for Menopause Tapping Script 1_20_23.png

WHO THIS TAPPING SCRIPT IS FOR

If you’re menopausal, perimenopausal, or postmenopausal, this tapping script is for you.

Whatever phase of the process you’re in, the statements here will help you identify parts of yourself which are hurting and in need of healing.

If you’re already on the menopausal journey, you know that it can be painful, difficult, and frightening.

That said, there are, of course, many blessings to be found within the change of life, and the phase of life which comes after it.

According to menopause health coach, Sarah Cormack, menopause is known as the “second spring” in Japan, and this speaks to those gifts within the transformation we undergo.

But in the midst of the blessings which unfold throughout this transformation, there is struggle. There is grief. There is fear.

I wrote this tapping script to help you identify and heal these challenging and painful aspects of menopause, so that you can enjoy the blessings its offers more fully, free from whatever suffering it may be causing you.

HOW TO USE THIS SCRIPT

As with all of my tapping scripts, these statements can be used as is, or modified in any way that makes them resonate more fully with your experience.

Some of them will fit for you, and some will not. Just use the ones that fit your experience and have an emotional charge.

You may notice that when you start tapping on these statements, thoughts and feelings will arise that you can then turn into new tapping statements, which will then give rise to still more thoughts and feelings, which you can use to create additional tapping statements, and so on.

I call this following the thread, and it’s a very efficient way to heal and release a lot of painful feelings in a short amount of time.

PLEASE NOTE

When doing EFT tapping on your own, if you aren't able to completely heal the issue you're working on, so that when you think about it, it no longer causes stress or emotional pain of any kind, I recommend working with a professional EFT practitioner. THE TAPPING STATEMENTS

I have mixed feelings about going through menopause.

I’m finding menopause to be really difficult.

It’s hard to accept that I’m no longer going to be fertile.

Going through menopause makes me feel old.

I’m afraid that my partner won’t want me anymore now that I’m menopausal.

Now that I’m menopausal, I’m afraid that my partner won’t think I’m sexy anymore.

I’m afraid that going through menopause is going to make my partner want a younger woman.

I don’t like the changes that my body is going through because of menopause.

The process of going through menopause is wreaking havoc on my usually regular monthly cycles.

I’m sad that I can’t have any more children.

Menopause means the end of my fertility, and that makes me feel sad.

I wish I could have had more children before menopause hit.

Because I’m going through menopause, I’m grieving my life and identity as a woman of child bearing age.

The symptoms of menopause are really hard to deal with.

I’m tired of hot flashes throwing me off my game several times a day.

Hot flashes are disrupting my sleep, and I don’t like it.

I don’t like what menopause is doing to my sex drive.

Menopause is making sex less enjoyable than it used to be.

Being menopausal is making me feel envious of younger women.

Being menopausal is making me grieve the loss of the younger woman I used to be.

The hardest part about menopause is how old it’s making me look and feel.

I feel like menopause is dragging me into old age, and I don’t want to go.

Even though it could be inconvenient and painful, I miss having my monthly cycle.

Going through menopause is making me feel like less of a woman.

When I think about losing my fertility, it makes me feel like crying.

I’m afraid that going through menopause is going to take the passion and romance out of my relationship with my partner.

Going through menopause makes me feel like I’m shriveling up.

I feel like menopause is taking my desirability away.

Menopause is making me wish I could turn back the clock and be a younger woman again.

As a menopausal woman, I’m beginning to feel like I’m invisible.
